I have been sick for the last week or so with what was just a little cold. But I just couldn't seem to get out of bed all last week. I have never had a cold that made me so tired. Needless to say I really didn't get a whole lot of knitting done. I have been working on a pair of sock all month, which for me is really rare that it takes that long to get a pair done. I wanted to make a pair of green socks for spring. I spun this merino a few months back. I got the roving from Spunky fibers. It was one of the roving of the month ones. I'm not sure when I got it but I really loved the way it spun up. I found the perfect spring pattern. Its comes from the current issue of Piecework (March/April 2008). This Nancy Bush pattern was inspired by Leili Reimann's Pitsilised Koekirjad ( knitted Lace) book. The pattern is called Wishbone and it was so much fun to knit up and I think it works just great with my handspun

Sorry to hear that you've been sick. I'm knitting a special little "Wee Tiny" for you. Be looking for it in the mail by the end of next week!
Those are so pretty!
Beautiful socks. Bet you can't wait to wear them.. hope you are on the mend...
Hi there,
Hope you've been feeling a little better. I'm very excited about sending your Big Bag off and it is looking good (felted last night when I finally got over to my girlfriend's place - she has a good washer, mine is scary and I feared it would destroy the bag!!).
Hope you enjoy it and are able to use it as you get out and shop for all sorts of things in this beautiful spring :)
Take care!!
